Jared Emfield is the head instructor and founder of The Academy of Martial Arts. Mr. Emfield's qualifications include several black belts, a brown belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu under the world's top instructor Pedro Sauer, Bachelor's degrees in both Education and in Anthropology, and a Master's Degree with an emphasis in the Biomechanics of Ancient Combat from Brigham Young University. He has been teaching martial arts for 20 years. Mr. Emfield is the proud father of 8 children and teaches high school students when he is not teaching at The Academy.
